The Senate this afternoon elected Sen. Surangel Whipps to be the next Senate President. This after a resolution introduced by Sen. Joshua Koshiba in a "spirit of unity" says that they don't want the new incoming senator to divide them even more. Sen. Whipps will assume the Senate Presidency while the rest of the leadership and committee chairmanships will remain the same, albeit only after the special election on May 9.
Which got me thinking if the action by the Koshiba Camp is not in anyway in reaction to Imelda Nakamura entering the senate race? If that is so, then does it follows that Imelda has a good chance of winning? Just asking.
