11:00am 2:00pm tabulation begins....results developing.
Live on WWFM radio.
2:00pm: 1,515 estimated absentee votes to be counted. 7:30pm: Now three hours and counting since the last results...still waiting. 8:30pm: Apparently, Diaz explained over the air that the tabulation committee took up his suggestion to count absentees from the CNMI and Guam by individual state and not to group all votes from each polling district as one result. That is why they are slow. They are still opening the envelopes and sorting out the votes according to each states. Hawaii, stateside, and other votes will be grouped and reported as one result. I'm surprised that at this late stage the Election Commission are still open to refining their system of counting and reporting. And by throwing away their long held counting and reporting method on a whim over a recommendation by one person is not very reassuring...and we are approaching the fifth hour since the last result update...still nothing. 9:30pm: It is now seven and half hours since the tabulation began and 5 hours since the last results.
